jointly owned mutual fund

I am a joint owner of a mutual fund I helped my mom open with her money in 2019, but only my social security # is listed on the 1099 documents. Does that mean I have to file the interest and dividends on my income taxes?  It really is her income.  How can it be filed on her taxes?

You can report it on your tax return with an adjustment and then your mom would need to report the income on her tax return.  See AnnetteB's answer and instructions from a similar situation.

The bank will usually send tax documents to the first name on the account or primary account holder.  You may be able to update your information with your financial institution to avoid this in the future.
