If the insurance company sent you a 1095-B or C, those forms do not need to be entered into the Health Insurance section of your return. Simply save them with your tax documents and click on the months covered in TurboTax.
If it was a 1095-A, from the Marketplace, here are directions for obtaining a copy of your 1095-A online, or by phone.
How to find your 1095-A online:
· Log into your Marketplace account at https://www.healthcare.gov
· Click the green Start a new application or update an existing one button
· Choose Go to my applications & coverage at the bottom of the screen
· Under Your existing applications" select your 2017 application — not your 2018 application. 2017 will be below your 2018 application
· Select Tax forms from the menu on the left
· Download all 1095-As shown on the screen
If you can’t find it in your Marketplace account, contact the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
