Filing a California Non Resident return. TurboTax CA State is allowing Property Tax and Mortgage Interest payments made on my PA (primary residence) property as an itemized deduction on the California return. Is that correct?

I'm under a similar situation here. Filing a CA nonresident/part-year resident 2020 return. TT CA State is allowing Property Tax and Mortgage interest payments made on my TX (primary residence until July 2020, then I moved to CA) property as an itemized deduction on the CA return.
Would be great if someone could shed some light on this.

Yes, generally CA taxes all income after all deductions and then prorates the tax based on your CA income.
I never set foot in califonia, own no house there, only a partnership, yet it wants to allow me to deduct my mortage interest and give me a refund. I don't see how i get a refund from CA, just trying to pay tax on money earned in the partnership. Turbotax won't let me zero it.
