It will not let me fix information that needs to be fixed on my state return

To fix items on your state tax return in TurboTax:    

1. Sign in to your TurboTax account
2. Click on Take me to my return button
3. Select the State tab (on left) 
4. Click on Continue, then Edit to update your information.

If you’re unable to correct the data by going back to that section of your state return, your best bet may be to clear your state return and start it over.

Its still doesn't let me fix anything on my state and its too late too clear and start over. I just need to add my state ID (skipped it on accident) but it only lets me continue without fixing it and then tells me its ok. I don't know what else to do.
