It says "Whose care did you pay for?" It says "Why doesn't George qualify for this credit?" George is my dependent. It does not let me select George. Why?

My dependent was born in October of 2018. Why can I NOT select his name? I should be getting a credit for childcare, correct?

Make sure you said your son born in 2018 lived with you for the WHOLE year--the question about that is in My Info. You have to say that for a newborn so that you can get the child-related credits you qualify for.
