I paid the $40 fees with my credit card but why am I still getting the same error message that I am entitled to efile one or more formsets? I checked everything and it’s correct? I never had this much trouble in the past 8 years I’ve use turbo tax.

Token number 738302. I paid the $40 fee but I still can’t efile. I have log out and log back in and tried to efile but it still doesn’t work. Since I already paid the fee I can’t delete and restart.  Please respond back ASAP.  Thanks!

You can try to delete your state return and add a new state.

If that does not work, you can file by mail as well.

I had the same issue and I spoke to one of the CS rep. She help me step by step. What we did was delete State and efile Federal first. Once federal is Accepted by the IRS, you can go back and complete state, pay the $40 fee again and efile. How do you delete state? Once your done with federal and move on to state you will see two option: edit and delete right next to it. Just click delete and it will erase state completely. I don’t know why this year we can’t file them both together and why I had to pay both fees but it went through for me when I did it this way. I efile federal on Sunday and state this morning (Monday). I received confirmation that my state was accepted by the IRS. Hope this helps you.

I spoke to a representative of TurboTax and they said e filing won’t go through because the irs hasn’t put all forms in but one of my friends already rifled with Jackson Hewitt, why did hers go through and TurboTax doesn’t?

Yes i agree with you. I had to upload a W2 and a !099. I had to pay $40 to be able to upload 1099. And then i was getting an error that i am not eligibile to efile. And at that time i did some research and figured out that at the end when it asks you to pay the $40 NY state filing fee, it worked for me.

I guess everyones case is different but for me when i paid the $40 state filing fee, I was able to efile both federal and state. The fee page comes right at the end in the REVIEW section.

I paid all the fees it asked fir and it still won’t let me file, I’ve called them three times, I’m about to call and ask for a supervisor to get a refund

Good luck, I ended up filing with H&R. TurboTax would NOT issue my refund. I am furious. That’s almost $100 I lost.
