Why wasn't the money I earned part time driving included in our AGI?

Combined SS and pension made up our AGI.  Money I made as a part time driver was separate.  Why isn't it included in our AGI?

Where do you see it separated?  On the Tax Summary or somewhere else? Business income IS included in your AGI

It's reported as "business income" Schedule 1 line 12 (attach schedule C or C-EZ)  It doesn't seem like business income to me.  I drove part time for a local car dealer and my earnings were reported on a 1099.

1099 income when you do work is considered self-employment income.

Yes, Business Income and Self-Employment income are the same and are both reported on Schedule C.
