Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.

Many federal and state forms are not yet available.  Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.

Tax form availability tool,

No hurry to e-file since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files until January 29.   And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.

It's still 1/17...up to midnight.

I always tell folks to check a day or 2 later instead..

But, I don't recommend filing until at least the first full week of February.  The IRS has said they won't start until the week of 29 January...and if you've already filed...what happens if you get a tax form in the next week or two you "forgot" about.
