It keeps telling me to enter a valid zip code

It says to enter a valid zip code but it changed the state on me from Oregon to Washington and it's starting to get very frustrating because now it won't let me know change it from Washington to Oregon.

Go back to the original data entry screen for the form in question, such as Federal > Wages and Income for a W-2 or 1099 form.  Correct it there.
