Is there any way to get the employers state ID number of it isn’t listed? My employer is in Washington… so I don’t know that it should even be listed. Thanks

I live in Idaho and the job is in Washington. 15 has ID listed but no state number. Shouldn’t it be blank?

Since Washington state does not have a personal income tax, leave boxes 15 thru 17 blank on the W-2 that you are entering.

I’d love to leave it blank but keep getting an error since it isn’t blank.

@walls-megan90 Then to remove this issue, delete the W-2 and re-enter manually.  That should solve the problem.
