Is it possible to e-file a state return only? I already filed the federal return and only need to submit the state one, but the system only allows submitting both.

When I did this, obviously my federal return got rejected because of the duplication and the state return did not get through. Is there any getaround? Or mailing is the only way to submit just the state return?
