Is it possible for employers to send your W-2 before January of the following year?

I changed jobs in April 2015. I cant remember if my previous employer sent me my W-2 after I quit. Is it possible for them to send W-2's before January of the next year?

They are required to send it to you by Feb 1, 2016. Call them if you don't get it.
