Is it better to Fax requested forms to IRS or mail them, which is faster response?

I agree but my concern was that it isn't even showing up as received on the IRS gov website.

I wonder if it has to do with the Fresno location because some other friends who mailed returns have already gotten their refund 

I wish the IRS would allow electronic filing py returns but that's a whole different matter.

There are probably thousands of fax numbers at the IRS.  If you got a letter from the IRS it would have the fax number on it if you could reply by fax.   What do you need to fax?
