Yes, refund will be processed without a driver's license. Omitting any of this information may delay return and refund processing.

Two states, Illinois and Alabama, do require a driver's license to file a state return..

It is indeed there. I thought the same thing at first. I found it righ under the drivers license number, in black writing. It is easy to miss if your'e looking for it in red writing.

My father passed away some time ago and my sister found IRA contracts in deposit box at bank . Being that we have the original contract and they were retirement IRA . Could they have been cashed in prior to us finding them.😀
