This worked for me on the online version and my returns were both accepted. I did the first suggestion and not the second.
Please try these steps to fix the rejection issue:

Suggestion 2:
Another option is to delete "Form 8915-F" and "Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement Distr" and then go back to the retirement section and reenter the information:

it now says for 8915 is available, but i have filed 3x and all have been rejected saying data entry in my form is not correct. i have hopped on teice with the "tax eperts" and all have said my info is correct, and it is still being rejected.
the last expert i spoke with said "try again tomorrow" without being able to identify anything wrong in the form
Thank you @Cwoomer ! I spent an hour on the phone with them and got no where, including being told no one else had this issue so I should just print and mail.
After coming here, I tried what you described and it worked! I re-filed and my return was accepted!
Online Version SOLVED: Mine was also rejected as I had "Coronavirus-Related" in Line C. In order to remove it, follow the instructions below:
1) Go back and Uncheck the Box for Coronavirus, then proceed to the next page where it makes you select the FEMA code
2) SELECT any random FEMA code and continue on
3) I proceeded as if I was going to file (but didn't) and on the last page where it gives you chance to review forms --- review and should now see the FEMA code in Line 3 on Form 8915
4) Now go back to your tax form and revisit the FEMA code, now select the BLANK. Go back and check the BOX
5) Proceed to file but check and confirm Line 3 is now BLANK.. if so... FILE

Anyone know how to edit the form on the Mac Desktop software? I can find the error that says "coronavirus pandemic" but I can't actually edit the form at all.
How do we access the desktop version? I’m so fed up with TurboTax right now. The agent (sup) that I spoke with for over an hour took over virtually and still couldn’t figure it out. She was as confused as I. She advised that there was already a ticket submitted for IT and that they’re trying to fix the she. However, no timetable as to how long this will take. I just want to be able to do this myself at this point.
Did you go to the forms and remove coronavirus from the fema code?
It won't let me. I can find it, and I can click on it on the 8915-FT form, but it's not an editable field.
If this doesn't work,
Let us know if this works.

@DaveF1006 This worked for me with ONE exception follow the first set of steps you laid out. Selecting blank didn't work, I had to select another disaster. I then had to go back in through all the steps again, selecting blank, but leaving the coronavirus box unchecked. I then went through one more time, and this time checked the coronavirus box, and now my form looks correct, with no text or FEMA code under item C, line 1.
So, I went thru your little exercise and the tax calculation on the return is wrong. It does get rid of the error, but, does not count the income or calculate the taxes owed on the 2022 income from 2020 correctly. I may be doing something wrong.
Second and commentary only, what did I pay for to jump thru hoops like this ? Fix the dang program and give me what I paid for otherwise, I may think of starting a class action law suit for selling vapor ware that does not perform as it is advertised. I expect glitches, but, this is bordering on ridiculous and yes I am frustrated.
I will wait for a few days for a fix before considering filing with a competitor and requesting a refund from Turbo tax. You are starting to lose my trust and my business, a longtime customer, with this nonsense.
Thanks to everyone in advance for putting up with my rant.
I'll add on to Dave's post....
I would suggest that you should not try to submit it after completing those steps. Do this...
1. Go to the "Tax Tools" tab on the left side of your screen and click the "Print Center" option.
2.This will give you the option to print or view your return which yo should select.
3. Click on the 2022 Federal return and choose just my tax return.
4. Go to page 11 of the pdf which should be the 8915 form. Look for Line C and see if anything is listed there. If it is, don't resend it because it will get rejected again (I'm assuming here).
The first option did not work for me. A question for Dave...Your second option requires going into form mode. This is not available for the online version correct?

Wow this seems to be the fix. By chance when you made the change and then re-elected that it was covid-19 related did you have a number populate on line C? I did and it no longer says coronavirus but DR-4564-FL.
