Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

Is anyone else getting a message that says "oops we've hit a snag" when they try to file? My internet connection is fine.

Worked for me.

Did you make or log in to your "myturbotax.intuit.com" account? I did, for paying that State filing fee. Might help.

Were there any errors that TT noted? I found there were errors from uncompleted boxes on the "Child and Dependent Care" deduction and credits page, which didn't apply to me. I had to explicitly go through the interview QA and select "No", "No", "No", etc. to effectively remove the non-applicable form.

Do File/Save and look at the PDF output, to make sure there are no un-necessary forms.

WiFi is stable? No other streaming video or bandwidth-consuming tasks on the line?

Browser settings preventing secure (https://) connections to the intuit server (ttlc.intuit.com)?

It is recommended that you first log out of your TurboTax Online and delete your cookies and clear your cache.

On rare occasions, cookies may make your browser think you already did something that you still need to do. To fix that, you'll need to delete (clear) the cookies from your browser. For more information on how to delete your cookies on the browser you are using, please see How do I delete cookies?.

In addition, your browser stores recently visited webpages as temporary files in a cache, which enables the pages to load more quickly when revisited. However, a full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax, so sometimes you need to clear your cache (that is, remove these temporary files).

Here are the official instructions for the most popular browsers:

Apple's official support site doesn't appear to contain instructions for clearing the cache in Safari. Your best bet is to search the Internet for clear Safari cache or similar search terms.

You can also try using a different browser to finish your return.
