IRS efile test batch

Hello I would like to know if anyone knows when or if there might be a date for the efile test batch this year. I remember last year I show something online it was around the Jan 17 that test batch were accepted before irs open its filing season.

I was one of those early filers that for 2 years in a row got my refund one or two days after IRS opens its season. I got my state refund a few weeks later.

We do not know. In fact the IRS has not announced the date they will start officially accepting/rejecting 2020 returns. We expect it to be end of January--but maybe later.
