Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

IRS didn't take the estimated tax scheduled in June 2022. I set it up in my 2021 return.

I did see the fund transfer to IRS on 4/19/2022. But on June 15, I didn't see any transaction to IRS.

How exactly did you "set it up" in your 2021 return, presumably in TT?  I'm not aware that there is any way to do that.

Unfortunately, you are somehow confused as to what you did when you filed your 2021 taxes.

1)  You "Can" arrange a single debit payment for your 2021 taxes due  (that might be your April 19 debit)

2)  You "Can" arrange a single debit for a payment with your 2021 tax extension filing  (perhaps it was this?)

_____________

3)  You "can" also have the software help you calculate what quarterly estimates you need to make for 2022 taxes....and print out the quarterly 2022 1040ES forms to mail in those payments yourself with a check...BUT, TTX cannot set up direct debit of Federal quarterly tax payments when you e-file your 2021 tax return. If you do not mail in the printed 1040 ES tax vouchers with a check, you can also set up a direct debit of those payments, on your own...separately, using the IRS's DirectPay web page, but TTX cannot do that for you.

So, I suspect that your 19 April debit was for either case #1 or #2 above, and if you need to be making quarterly estimated payments for 2022 taxes, you need to start setting them up yourself with the IRS (or mailing in a check with a 1040ES voucher),  [[ I guess it is also possible you might have set up that 19 April debit as a 2022 quarterly estimated payment on the IRS's Direct Pay website yourself...but don't remember now that you did that, and also forgot to set up the next payment.]]
