IRS Claims my former employer didn't report my wages but I have my W2 and I spoke with my previous employer who says she sent everything in. I never had an issue before.

I'm still waiting for my 2022 refund that I filed in Feb of 2023. They said the same thing about my employer not reporting my income. I've worked for the same employer for the last 8 years and my coworkers got their refunds. Even if my employer was a fault, I only received two letters stating they needed 60 days to review. After 120 days I called in and my account was moved over to the Credit Team. I was told I should have received a letter,  but they could see it was never sent out "for some reason". That's when I was finally told that it was due to my employer not reporting my taxes. I was told to upload my check stubs, so I did. I waited the 60 extra days they said I had to, then I called back. Guess what, "something" happened with their system and they didn't receive the documents. So I had to resend everything 2/28 of THIS YEAR, I called today and was told that while they received the documents they still need 60 days to review and send a letter for signature. If and it's a biiiggg IF.. If I receive the letter and send it back, I have to wait another 120day for them to send the refund. I've already received my 2023 refund while working for the same employer. They've dropped the ball 4 times, there's two letters I never received, 1 call from a supervisor that never happened, and documents that got "lost" when I uploaded them to the website. Why do I have to suffer and wait longer due to them not doing their job.
