IRA withdrawal

I had 840 taken out of a 7000 IRA withdrawal days I'm getting all that money refunded that can't be right and I know I owe money on my pension that wasn't taxed it didn't calculate that way

Can you please check line 4b of Form 1040 for the taxable amount?

2. Click "Tools"
3. Click "View Tax Summary" in the Tool Center window
4. Click on "Preview my 1040" on the left

If it doesn't show as taxable what is the code in box 7 on your 1099-R? To confirm this was from a traditional IRA?
