Intuit Its Deductible Discontinuance

It appears Intuit Its Deductible is being discontinued and they are suggesting using Mint to track donations.  It appears this option only supports tracking cash donations but I do wonder if non cash donations are also supported and, if so, how.

So happy to receive an email from Intuit today saying that It's Deductible is NOT being discontinued.  Apparently, enough people let them know that we really liked it.  I use it every year!

Note ... it is ONLY  a stay of execution for one more tax year to give you more time to find something else. 

Unfortunately, TT only reinstated ItsDeductible for the 2022 Tax Year through October 15, 2023 (see below link from ItsDeductible) .  After that, they will discontinue it again.  If this many people rely on ItsDeductible and will switch tax programs, all the Income TT loses will be much higher than the cost of keeping ItsDeductible going!

How do I export my data from ItsDeductible?

Important: Intuit has decided not to discontinue ItsDeductible and will continue to support the tool through tax year 2022 (including preparation of 2022 returns until October 15, 2023). Your account and data will continue to be available without interruption. If you are an ItsDeductible user, you should have received a notification of this change on or about July 5, 2022.

Follow these steps to export and save your ItsDeductible data.

1. Sign in to your ItsDeductible account here
2. Select the tax year you want to save
3. Select View Summaries
4. Select PDF next to the data you want to save
5. Repeat steps 2–4 for all other tax years you’d like to save

We recommend keeping all tax return data for the last three years for your tax records.

I would just like to suggest/comment that if It's Deductible was an APP, with a little advertising, it would be popular. Even could add a way to import emails from charities that you get when you donate money or items as a receipt, and make an export into TurboTax and a PDF for your records.  It would take off.  Please as you keep this program consider this minor expansion.

I was busy this summer, but wanted to ensure my voice was also heard by intuit.  If they discontinue ItsDeductible in the future, I'll be looking for other tax software.  There is no equivalent software to do non-cash deductions ANYWHERE online than itsdeductible.  I have many friends and family members who feel the same.  I'm thankful that Turbotax reversed their decision.  I will be happily continue to use turbotax and itsdeductible again this year and in the future PLUS continuing to recommend it to as many people as I can.
