Installed new energy efficient ac and gas furnace. According to the company who installed it, I have an FED of $350.00. how do I enter this amount on my tax form? The invoice does not break out the fees for the ac vs the furnace. All the work is lumped together. The "Tax Credits and Rebates" line lists FED 350

To enter the information for the credit in TurboTax you will do the following:

• Log in to your TurboTax Online account, or open your return in TurboTax CD/Download
• Click to Continue your return/Take me to my return
• Click on Federal Taxes
• Click on Deductions & Credits
• Click on "Check for more tax breaks"
• Click on "Skip to all tax breaks"
• Find the section titled Your Home, click to Show More
• Find Home Energy Credits and click to Start or Edit/Revisit
