Is there a way to ensure TurboTax will carryover the info for our Inherited IRA into the next year's return, like so much OTHER info is carried over? Every single year, TurboTax asks me basic info about our Inherited IRA (e.g. Date of Death of the IRA Owner), and every single year I have to go look up that info. And I always resolve to commit the info to memory, but by the time I do taxes the next year, well, let's just say I have to look it up again. Just seems like the software should carry that info over from one year to the next like it does with so much other info. Is there any way to "force" TurboTax to carry over the info for our Inherited IRA? Thank you!!

There is not. Answers to questions are never carried over. Only IRA information such as basis in an IRA are carried over.
Just FYI ... the DOD is not sent to the IRS, that info is only used in the interview for RMD & other purposes ... so the exact DOD is not really needed as long as the year is at least 1 year prior to the return being filed ... for instance on he 2019 return you just need to enter 2017 or earlier.
