Individual tax owned

Hi, I’m in a married filing jointly situation. When everything is done and computed, is there a way TT will tell you how much tax is owned by each? Our income is split about 2/3 1/3 but my wife wants the exact split, which of course shouldn’t be exactly in this proportion. Thank you

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can compare which filing status is the most advantageous to use and you can see the tax liability for each person.  Remember that MFS has a higher tax rate than MFJ.

Refer to the TurboTax Help article How can I compare Married Filing Jointly with Married Filing Separately?

For additional information, review the TurboTax articles Should You and Your Spouse File Jointly or Separately? and  Married Filing Separately in community property states
