I am constantly getting am error message stating my routing number is incorrect and has too many digits. It is the same one I used last year and contains 9 digits, the first is a "2". WHat's the issue? I am using TurboTaxMAC desktop version.

Sometimes financial institutions change routing numbers or will add additional routing number(s). Look up your financial institution and double check the routing number to be sure.
No. I double checked copy/pasted as well as typed the number in. Confirmed it was 9-digits also. Still getting the error. The issue appears to be a Turbo Tax one because a family member filed theirs (we use the same bank thus the same routing number) with no issues.
I don't know the details of the type of transaction you are trying to make or if it's the same type of transaction as your family member; i.e., making a direct deposit or direct debit. It is just a suggestion that, depending on the type of transaction you are trying to make, to contact your financial institution to confirm their correct routing number. For example, the routing number on a paper check might not always be the same number you'll need for an ACH transfer or direct debit. I had no issue with Turbotax in completing my taxes but I'm sure if you contact them, they will be able to help you. Best wishes.
