Income from a TV ratings firm was received less than $300. so we did not receive a 1099. How do we report it. Note:we have other income that was taxed because our income.

Follow these steps after logging into your account, if you have not already done so:

1. Go to Wages and Income.
2. All the way at the bottom, click Less Common Income
   
3. Last option is Miscellaneous Income, click Start
   
4. Go to the bottom of the screen and click Other reportable income (Click Start)
5. Next screen asks Any Other Taxable income?  Click Yes
   
6. Enter a Description (such as TV survey income) and the amount you received ($300)

This income will report on Line 21 of Schedule 1 as Other Income.  It is not self-employment income.
