In
the TurboTax Online Editions, it automatically saves as you go along.
However, to be safe you can make sure you select "My Account" and the "save and sign out". I have also included printing and saving file instructions for you.
You can also Preview/Review your return:
Note: You will need to be inside your return when you select My Account, otherwise you will only see Account Settings/ Save and Sign out.
Select the My Account drop down in the upper right and choose Print Center.
Click Print save or preview this year’s return.

TurboTax online free account, does NOT show options to save an unfinished return, so you can finish it later.
Any idea why?
There are no options to save unfinished return online,
not under "my account"
nor a "save and sign out" button
The only option, so far, seems to be this:
to download unfinished return as a tax file, and as a pdf,
Am I understanding this correctly?
