Head of household taxpayers have the child tax credit phaseout if their income is between 75,000 dollars and 95,000 dollars. With income of 95,000 dollars, the credit would be entirely eliminated.

The child tax credit phases out at 50 dollars for every 1,000 dollars of income over the following amounts:

  1. Single, HOH, and Qualifying widow - 75,000 dollars.
  2. Married filing jointly - 110,000 dollars
  3. Married filing separately - 55,000 dollars

Do you mean a dependent deduction? Or the Child Tax Credit?

You can claim the dependent exemption at your income level.

In fact, you need a qualifying dependent to file as HOH.
