Im being ask to put in info for a 1099NEC for my husband but Im the one who had a 1099MISC how can i get pass this for him?

it was sent to me from General Motors legal Service  not for working not sure why?

You'll be able to select who the 1099-NEC belongs to on the "Let's get the info from your 1099-NEC" screen. 

1. Type 1099-NEC in the search bar and select the Jump to 1099-NEC.
2. Continue to the Let's get the info...screen and select who the 1099-NEC form is for.
