Illinois 1040 line 10a is supposed to be the number of exemptions on the federal return, but it does not populate. How can I prompt it to fill this in?

Illinois 1040 line 10a is supposed to be the number of exemptions on the federal return, but it does not populate. How can I prompt it to fill this in?

Starting this year, tax year 2017, Illinois does not allow you to claim the Standard Exemption Allowance if your federal adjusted gross income is above certain limits. If your federal adjusted gross income exceeds $250,000 (or $500,000 if your are married filing a joint return) you cannot claim the exemption allowance (line 10) on your Illinois tax return.

Starting this year, tax year 2017, Illinois does not allow you to claim the Standard Exemption Allowance if your federal adjusted gross income is above certain limits. If your federal adjusted gross income exceeds $250,000 (or $500,000 if your are married filing a joint return) you cannot claim the exemption allowance (line 10) on your Illinois tax return.
