Filing calendar year final tax return for a trust in IL using Turbo Tax Business for desktop and the IL Fiduciary state program. The 2024 Form IL-1041 is being generated but includes the 2023 Schedule D versus 2024 Schedule D. Tried deleting the Schedule D form and restarting, with same result. Any recommendations on how to get 2024 Schedule D in the results.
The IL-1041 Instructions on the IL Department of Revenue website states:
"2024 Form IL-1041 is for tax year ending on or after December 31, 2024, and ending before December 31, 2025. For tax year ending on or after December 31, 2023 and before December 31, 2024, use the 2023 form. Using the wrong form will delay the processing of your return."
However, since using a calendar year (ending on 31 Dec 2024) and Turbo Tax generated the 2024 IL-1041 as expected, it should also include the 2024 vs 2023 Schedule D.

You'll probably have to contact customer service to get this resolved unless there is an update in the interim.
Thanks,
Called customer support a couple days ago, but that's still in process.
First call resulted in automated system returning me to this thread.
Second call, placed on hold early in process and decided call had been dropped after about 30 minutes.
Third call, rep asked to view my screen and had me try several things, including uninstalling and reinstalling IL fiduciary, over the course of 30-45 minutes. At that point I needed to leave for a meeting, so the rep suggested uninstalling and reinstalling Turbo Tax Business when had a chance. Have completed that process (didn't correct the 2023 Schedule D issue), so now just need to determine when have time to try calling customer service again.
Giving up on Intuit customer service. Will just complete the 2024 Schedule D form on IL Dept of Revenue website versus wasting any more time, and arguably being worse off than when first called. Could have saved $50 + tax and a lot of time if had just completed the entire IL-1041 form manually vs trying to use TurboTax.
Instead of trying to determine why the 2023 versus 2024 Schedule D was being used in the Turbo Tax application or when an update would be available. Customer service kept trying things that were unrelated and arguably left me in a worse state then when started.
During this fourth (and last) over hour long call, customer service had me start a 'preview Windows update' which significantly slows response times in other applications and resorted icons on my desktop by name (nothing to do with running TurboTax), had me delete Schedule D (which hadn't worked before) then restart my computer. With the Windows update still running, the restart took 30-40 minutes (hung up with customer service rep before it completed). Of course nothing changed when restarted TurboTax and went back through the state entries (still 2023 Schedule D). Not clear if this last rep knew any more about TurboTax or computer operation than myself. Very Frustrating!
