That sounds like phishing or a scam of some sort. Neither the IRS nor TurboTax would send an email asking for your AGI. If the email claims to be from the IRS, forward it to phishing@irs.gov. If it claims to be from TurboTax forward it to spoof@intuit.com. Do not click any links in the email or open any attachments.
