My 16 year old daughter just got her first job 1month ago and i just noticed on her pay check that she claimed 1 and no federal taxes are being witheld from her paycheck?

If you think she will make 6,350 or less this year don't have any federal withholding taken out. Then she won't have to file a federal return.
