I received an authentic looking email this morning saying I attempted to change my password,which I didn't do.Is this a new,very good scam?

If you suspect you have received a phishing e-mail from Intuit, please report it immediately to https://security.intuit.com/ to be investigated. 
 
Avoid Phishing Scams and Spoofed Sites
