What do they mean by “do these jobs still apply in 2017”

If you still worked there in 2017 the prior year W2 will transfer the employer name and EIN over to this year.  But it doesn't transfer the amounts so you need to enter the new amounts.  When you get to the W2 section you can add new W2s and delete old ones you don't work at anymore.
