I never finished my 2015 taxes. Can I do this here?

I live overseas and didn't have any earnings outside of rental income and my expenses exceed my income.  Since i didn't owe, I let this slide away... can I do the 2015 taxes and submit them now?

To prepare your 2015 return using TurboTax you need the 2015 Desktop tax software and the return must be mailed in. A prior year return cannot be done online; the Online version is only to prepare the current year’s return. You can go to the following website to purchase and download TurboTax’s 2015 desktop tax software.

Or, You can go to the IRS website to get Prior Year Federal Forms, Instructions & Publications to manually do your returns (enter your form number in the find box)

If you need to file a State return you can go to your State's website for prior year forms to manually fill out & mail.

You can also check a website like Amazon.com for prior year TurboTax software at a discounted price, or search the internet

I see the computer you used to ask this question is running Linux OS.
If you plan on using a computer with Linux, be aware that TurboTax desktop software will not run on Linux OS.  Only Windows or Mac.

If you started a 2015 return, using TurboTax online (TTO), but did not finish and did not pay the TurboTax fee to save you work; what you put in was deleted, shortly after the Oct 15 deadline. You can no longer finish using TTO.
