How long will it take the IRS to receive my copies of both of my 1095-A forms and form 8962 once I mail it in? They didn’t request anything except those in the letter.

From what i read a hardship is where you owe taxes but cant pay them because you dont make enough money. So the IRS gives you a break basically

If you fax it wait 5 days the count 21. If you mail it wait 10 days then count 21

I called this morning and the lady gave me a fax number to send it in to since I never received my letter. She didn't tell me anything about sending it with a cover sheet.

got my letter monday, faxed tuesday. no update thursday yet.

No you can have a hardship done if your due a refund. They will pull your return process it manually and push it through. But I dont know anything more than that and you need proof of it also.

The irs sent me the letter that I need to fax over the 13th and I received it the 25th which was a Monday  I faxed it back that same day got a confirmation that it went through and it’s now Thursday now I am just hoping and praying that someone from irs gets my fax information and start the process up again I hope that it really doesn’t take 6 to weeks to receive my refund . They got all the information just needed the 8962 form and the 1095A form  so I don’t think it should take more then two weeks .. however lesson learned to NEVER file without having anything I’m hand before you go to your tax preparer  because it just holds up the process and make it even longer. Also never file outside of your original company that you would go to every year I should’ve stayed with Jackson Hewitt because the lady that filed mines  was a private own company she should’ve known that it would be a hold up if I didn’t have all my forms  smfh now I got to wait longer then I anticipated on

Go to youtube! It helped me search how to fill out a 8962 form the photo in the video is the irs emblem click that and it will help you

Filling out that form was hard! But on other forums, lots of ppl were getting their refunds in 3 weeks. Most didn’t get an received confirmation until after 6-9 days

 I faxed my 8962 form and 1095A last Wednesday.  I checked my tax transcript this morning and it had been approved last night so I took 8 days. Hopefully my direct deposit will come quickly!
