If my city or town doesn't come up when I want to enter my NJ municipality what should I do?

There is a list of codes but the option I need does not come up in the drop down menu

You might be looking for a local name that is not the official name of the municipality. Are you using the name that's on your tax bill? If you are a tenant, ask your landlord what municipality he pays tax to. Or go to the following link, enter the name in the Local Name box, and search for it. It will show you the correct municipality name and county.
