If I quit my job at the end of October 2023, do I list my occupation as my former title or unemployed for my 2023 filing?

Either one. You can put anything you want for occupation. It doesn't affect your return.

Either one. You can put anything you want for occupation. It doesn't affect your return.

You can either as your occupation. This is only used for statistical purposes.
