If I pay TurboTax using my credit card do I have the option to send in my return and pay my taxes by any other means or do they take that off my card too?

You can pay your TurboTax fees using a credit card, and still choose another method of paying your tax due--you can choose to pay by check or money order, or pay the IRS directly at the IRS site.

Paying TT using a credit card does not obligate you to use that credit card to pay your taxes. And many states want to be paid directly.
