If i pay turbo tax with my return then they charge and extra 40$ But if i pay with a credit card then they dont charge an extra 40$?

That is correct.  Pay your TurboTax fees upfront using a credit or debit card BEFORE you e-file and avoid that extra $40 refund processing fee.

Correct.  The Refund Processing Service is an option for paying your TurboTax fee by deducting it from your federal tax refund. It's a convenient way to pay for TurboTax if you don't have (or don't want to use) your credit or debit card.

Note that there’s a $40 processing fee charged by the third-party bank that handles the transaction. We'll display the fees when you get ready to file.
