If I live in a foreign country, but maintain my permanent address in the U.S., which address should I put in the "My Info" section?

In the MyInfo "Mailing Address and Phone Number" section, enter the address where you want the IRS to send any correspondence about your return (refund, questions, notices, etc.)

In the personal information interview of MyInfo, you are asked "Where did you live on 12/31/2017 ?". They aren't asking where you were physically located, but what was your state of residence. 

When you complete the My Info Personal Interview:

1.  Select (The state for your permanent address) as your state of residence.

2.  Answer "No" when asked if you "Lived in another state in 2017?" That question only applies if you changed your state of residence in 2017.
