If I keep getting stuck at 'review your order' before filing, what do I do? State taxes cannot be filed yet, as TurboTax is waiting for documents to be updated

State taxes are waiting for updates on Turbo Tax's end, but said I would be able to file Federal and then they would notify me once State was ready to go. But when I got to the review section prior to filing, it keeps looping back to Step 1 of "review your order" and won't allow me to proceed to step 2 & 3. I am confused because it stated I could file Federal now, and State later. Not sure why it keeps looping me back to step 1. I have tried using their App, then my laptop Chrome browser and keep getting the same thing.

Maybe you are waiting for some forms.  Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.

Many federal and state forms are not yet available.  Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.

Tax form availability tool,

No hurry to e-file since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files until January 29.   And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.

Another thing to check—make sure the address on your tax return and the address on your method of payment match each other.
