If I collected unemployment will my federal amount change automatically in turbo tax?

I keep checking my amount but it remains the same and I did my taxes in early February.

your online return will not change. that was what was filed. the IRS has your original return and will automatically adjust for any nontaxable UC.and issue a refund though it may take all summer. do not file an amended return. do not change the original unless you need to file an amended return for some other reason.

If you filed before the $10,200 unemployment exclusion, the IRS will recalculate your return for you. There is no need for taxpayers to file an amended return unless the calculations make the taxpayer newly eligible for additional federal credits and deductions not already included on the original tax return.

You may need to amend your state return

At first Turbo Tax adjusted the filed returns for it. But only in your Turbo Tax account (it wasn’t sent to the IRS). BUT judging by posts I'm seeing it seems Turbo Tax put the returns back to the original filed one. Which is probably a good thing to match what was actually filed.
