ID and Driver license for efiling

I have tried using driver license number, but turbo tax wouldn't let me pass that point, why? That was two years ago.

Would you please clarify your question when you specifically state "that was two years ago."

Also, a driver's license is not required for filing the federal return, but some states require it. See this TurboTax FAQ: Why are you asking for my driver’s license or state ID?
