Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I just filed and I'm not sure if I need to send anything in. I did "file by mail" instead of "e-file" because I didn't have my 2015 tax info. What do I do?

I'm confused as to whether I can to mail anything in or not. And could you explain the difference between "file by mail" and "e-file" thank you

I would be happy to help you with this. An E-file is an electronic file, basically the forms are sent 9in a format similar to PDF files over the internet. Filing by mail is printing the forms out and sending them through a postal service. I would personally recommend using the US postal service, but I'm sure you could use fed ex or UPS or another postal service.

Here is information on how to file by mail.

Once you have them printed and signed you mail them to the address associated with your location.
