I worked as an independent contractor, and I sent my W9 to the person I worked for but he said he does not send 1099s. How should I file this income?

You can report your income as General Income.

1.  Go to Business Income and Expenses.

2.  Select Update by Business Income.

3.  Select Start or Update by General Income.

4.  Enter the Description and Amount in the fields, and it will carry over to Schedule C correctly.
