I will not be carrying my oldest daughter this year [name removed] how do I take her off my return for 2016

To remove your daughter from your return:

Click the Personal Info tab
Scroll down until you see your daughter's name and then click Delete.
Answer Yes to Are you sure you want to delete this dependent?
Click Done.
