I was preparing my current taxes and a line came up about overtime and said check it and dont worry we will tell u.so i did .now at the end it says 1 error to fix .help

How do i remove/edit turbos question about overtime.they said check the box.dont worry.we will add it later when the apps up and going.i did that.it wont let me file untill i remove that item.how do i edit it into the pit.lol where it belongs

First of all---it is too early and you cannot e-file your tax return yet, so slow down on that.  The IRS will not begin to accept returns until very late January.

The software is not yet ready for the tax law changes regarding overtime, so you will have to wait for the update.

And if you did have overtime.....they just meant that the Overtime entry area will be ready later. So you will likely have to revisit that W-2 area later.....when you actually get your real W-2. Do not file until the end of January at the earlies....to file any earlier just invites a tax filing disaster that will be difficult for YOU to fix. Mid-Feb or early March is safer.
