If Workman's compensation was your only income of any kind for all of 2017 then you do not have tile a tax return since Workman's compensation is not reported on a tax return.

So sorry to give bad news, but you cannot get earned income credit for workers compensation.  You can only get EIC for income earned by working.  If you had no other income besides the workers comp, you have no need to file a tax return.
